Casa Noir is a case study in quiet luxury, defined by its pared down design, monochromatic color palette, and elegant, intentional material choices. Gray plaster walls carry a monolithic quality throughout the space, softened by the hand-troweled texture of roman clay, lending a sense of place to the primary suite. In the bathroom, unique material choices with subtle organic textures add a sense of aliveness to the purposefully subdued space. The vanity is clad in a black granite, softened by a subtle, textured finish that mimics nature. In the bedroom, a slatted wall introduces a geometric element to the space, and frames the upholstered bed. Custom pendant lighting above the nightstands adds visual in-terest and soft lighting, keeping the space cozy and calm. Custom millwork and elevated finishes define the overall feeling of the primary suite, setting the tone for a serene retreat. The interplay of matte finishes and soft light reflects a design approach rooted in restraint, where every element is intentional.
