The Cordova Villa is a full-scale kitchen remodel in Calabasas with detailed millwork and an open, timeless design. The bespoke cabinetry features a European face frame style and a combination of cabinet faces, which adds depth to the design and texture to the visual field. A central island with matching cabinetry anchors the space, providing ample workspace and additional storage. The kitchen features a large range set against a wall clad in light, handmade zellige tiles that reflect a soft, earthy tone. Above the range, a minimalist custom plaster hood blends seamlessly with the surrounding walls, emphasizing simplicity and craftsmanship. Floating wooden shelves adorned with simple ceramics and natural elements tie into the overall design’s organic and handcrafted feel. The wooden beams accent the high ceilings and tie into the Spanish-style arched windows. The overall space is warm and inviting, elegantly blending transitional and traditional elements.
