MATERIALS

limestone, reclaimed oak, zia olive tile, plaster walls

The wall-to-wall vanity features bespoke cabinetry with natural wood millwork and white plaster detail, which was inspired by an original console found within the home. The juxtaposition of the reclaimed doors with the smooth limestone countertop provides subtle visual interest and blends old details with new. A brass wall-mounted faucet complements the neutral tones and brings warmth to the minimalist setting. The plastered walls and ceiling have a soft, off-white tone with an uneven, hand-troweled texture, lending the space an artisanal, old-world charm. The arched niche built into the vanity wall adds a delicate architectural detail and decorative shelves. The flooring is laid in a basket weave pattern and has a subtle, irregular finish in an olive hue. In the corner, a glass-enclosed shower with frameless panels maintains the openness of the room, allowing the materials and textures to remain the focal point without visual interruption. The minimalist hand-blown glass light fixtures complete the room, providing soft, diffused light to the serene atmosphere.
